Wished I never came back.

Whatever that is ideal, whatever that is fantasy, remains as it is. For what is ideal, lives far away from reality. And here I am, right smacked in reality, so much so that I wished I never returned. All these months praying for my parents… all futile. I know God is listening, but it seems like it just got worse. And yes, I only blog when I am deep in the pits. That means, I am in the pits. It’s too easy to walk away from all these. It’s too easy to fly back and never return. Maybe that’s what I should do. But escapism seems like something a coward would do. And I guess, God has His purpose for putting me wherever I am. And since I’m back “home” right now, I pray and ask for patience and love. I don’t know what I can do. I don’t know what’s the best thing to do either. Sometimes I feel like Paddy Clarke. Caught in between. And then, there’s church. Going back to my church, funny how I don’t exactly feel at home at all. I felt like I never left at all. Good or bad… I don’t know. But this church… it needs revival for sure.

Since my return, all that I’ve seen only points me to one fact: Everything and everyone needs God.

Sometimes I don’t know what’s going on in me. I don’t know what I am feeling and thus I don’t know what to do or what should I do. And then I just pause and though the world continues to move, I just stay still. What is going on? Suddenly I am lost. What do you feel? What are you thinking? I can’t read your mind. I can’t read your heart. All I can say is: Gah.

EMMA WATSON SAVED THE MOVIE. SERIOUSLY. Without Emma Watson, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II will just be a flop. She is too hot. Too hot. It sounds weird coming from me but whatever man.I watched the movie after lecture this morning. Whoohooo!

Anyhow, I am very very tired from I don’t know what. I just feel very tired. Fatigue. I need a break but I can’t have a break.

And… a new term begins again.

I am pretty much determined to do better this term and be more hardworking (I hope). I don’t know what God has installed for me this term as well. I was reading BSF notes this morning and it was about the previous lesson. It was about Hezekiah and his faithfulness (although he did give all that was in the temple to the King of Assyria before he finally sought the Lord’s help). I really hope to be a faithful servant this term, as I foresee how it’s gonna be a busy term again. I hope I can manage my time well and faithfully attend BSF and Focus Team and bible studies every week. I know God will give me strength to do so! So I ask God for strength for this term and may He carry me through this term just like how He did for the first half of 2011.

For I know my God is able.

In the process of making…

POACHED PEARS WITH ICE-CREAM!

But, IT’S TOO SWEET. Too sweet. I wanted to do something with the bottle of moscato left in the fridge because Yao couldn’t bring it back.

Today was very eventful! Met up with Joy for a walk from Coogee to Bondi again. But… it was raining and so we stopped by a cafe at Clovelly beach to have some coffee and chai latte. While sipping out drinks, I was looking for easy recipes and recipes which doesn’t require alot of baking equipments. So… I found… Aunt Anne’s Pretzel recipe!!! Gonna make that tomorrow! Need alot of luck though. Anyhow, the rain didn’t die down so we just continued walking in the rain. We wanted to take a bus to Bondi from Clovelly but instead we ventured out to walk via an alternative route and we walked through the lovely cemetery! So nice. We found a new route Hahaha. Then walked to Bondi Interchange to get baking stuff from Coles. Headed home and did my poached pears!!!

Anyhow Louise my apartment mate made fruit tarts and gave me some extras Whoohoooo!

Winter Break 2011

It has been an awesome winter break !

Thanks to Ann, Jacq, Yao and Dono who came over! Got to brunch every morning for the first week before the guys came over. Went to Featherdale wildlife park for the first time and it was pretty nice seeing Joeys and Dingos and KOALAS! HAHA. And it was definitely fun petting the goats and stuff. Spent lots of money on food definitely. When the guys came over, brought them around. Then we had a snowboarding trip to Thredbo in Jindabyne! WHOOHOO! I CAN SNOWBOARD! We drank at the bar there during party night and I LOVE JAGERBOMB! HAHAHA. Tequila shots weren’t too bad as well. Damn fun damn fun. Then we went to Hunter Valley and I got tipsy which was embarrassing Cos we started wine tasting right from the morning and I drank on an empty stomach. We went whale watching too!!! Saw humpback whales! Oh, and we caught the fireworks at Darling Harbour twice! Love it! Photos are all up on facebook!

Gonna catch Transformers and Kungfu Panda 2 today!!! Wheeepeeeee!

EXAMS OVER OVER OVER! HAHAHAHAHHAA.

I AM SO HAPPY.

AND RELAXED.

After exams, went back to chill and then had lunch and then went to officeworks and kmart. I bought speakers! NOW I HAVE A REASONABLY GOOD SOUND SYSTEM. MUSIC IS AWESOME. After that Renette and Joel cooked bakuteh for us. I am so happy. Very nice. After dinner, did laundry, then shalom came over so we all played boardgames until late at night. Opened a bottle of port wine too! Slept so late. Woke up the next day feeling dehydrated because of all the wine and because I totally forgot to hydrate myself after drinking and so I woke up with a really dry throat. Headed out to Big Echo for karaoke!!! SING ALL YOU CAN PACKAGE 12PM – 6PM! HAHAHAHA. AWESOME STUFF. SANG UNTIL I DIED. Had bible study after that then came back and NUAAAAA at home with my awesome sound system. whaahahhahahahaha.
